FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the tobacco industry and concerns the protection of tobacco raw materials from bacterial and mycological contamination. The composition for the treatment of tobacco raw materials from bacterial and mycological contamination is an aqueous solution of the active substance based on a carboxylic acid or its salt. Moreover, the composition additionally contains polyvinylpyrrolidone or polyvinyl alcohol in a mass ratio of carboxylic acid or its salts: polyvinylpyrrolidone or polyvinyl alcohol = (1-10):(0.1-1) with a mass content of components of 10-50%.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the protective functions of the composition and increase its antifungal effectiveness in comparison with the previously used compositions.
