SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to the designs of rotary-wing aircraft and their power plants. Rotary-wing aircraft comprises a sealed carrier body in the form of a hemisphere with a cockpit, a passenger compartment and/or a cargo compartment, with an open cylindrical air channel located in the center of the hemisphere. A hybrid power plant is fixed on the inner surface of the channel, including a control system, a primary energy source, a reversible two-dimensional electric machine installed vertically, to the lower output shaft of which an air turbine is connected, which includes two rotor wheels with spokes, on which blades are installed with the ability to simultaneous change in the angle of attack. On the outer side of the toroidal fuel tanks there are two oppositely located and oppositely directed pulsating air-jet engines and/or pendulum-gate devices for reactive detonation combustion. Electric motors with a propeller are located on the outer surface of the hull and/or wings.
EFFECT: increased maneuverability, reliability and flight safety.
