FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air transport, particularly, to vertical take-off and landing aircraft. Vertical take-off and landing aircraft flying vehicle uses hybrid electric power plant containing traction motors and pendulum-slide device of reactive detonation combustion, in MHD generator of which power is generated to supply traction motors. Power plant includes a control system, an energy source which contains at least one electric accumulator or electric energy accumulator, fuel tanks and tanks with an oxidizer, as well as fuel and oxidizer supply systems, an air compressor driven by a thermal engine and/or a reversible electric machine. Power plant also includes at least four rotary electric motors, which can turn in any direction and connected to electric installation, on output shafts of which there are installed propellers with variable or invariable angle of attack.

EFFECT: possibility of using natural methane as fuel, higher manoeuvrability of the aircraft.
