FIELD: engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for securing grounding conductors with a diameter of 8 to 10 mm at the end of metal structures made of a corner, a strip, a T-beam, an I-beam, and a channel, and other metal structures containing shelves and walls of rectangular cross-section, using a conductor holder containing a fixing clamp and a U-shaped holder body consisting of a middle wall and side walls, wherein bolts are located on one of the side parts for fixing the shelves or the base of the metal structure at the ends, consisting in first securing, at the end of the shelves or the base of the metal structure made of a T-beam, an I-beam, and a channel, a holder for securing grounding conductors on the side of the U-shaped body, positioning the end of the shelves or the base in the inner part of the U-shaped body, between the side walls, considering the gap for securing the bolts located on one of the side walls, followed by tightening the bolts, then inserting one or two grounding conductors with a diameter of 8 to 10 mm in the plates of the clamp for fixing one or two grounding conductors, fixing the plates of the clamp crosswise or parallel, depending on the selected positioning of the grounding conductors, and securing by means of a bolt connecting the clamp for fixing one or two grounding conductors and the U-shaped body. In another variant of the method, a similar holder is used for securing the grounding conductors on a stud.
EFFECT: possibility of secure fixation of flat grounding conductors and/or round conductors in a vertical or horizontal position without the need for drilling the metal structure or conducting welding work, with the possibility of easily dismantling or replacing damaged parts if necessary.
