FIELD: radiation technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radiation technology, or rather to stationary radioisotope installations with a movable irradiator. The industrial gamma-installation for radiation treatment of agricultural products, materials and medical products, organic and inorganic objects, contains an irradiator formed of tubular elements-cassettes with radiation sources mounted on a frame, a pneumatic drive for moving the irradiator, a control system and radiation protection with an irradiator storage. The rectangular-shaped irradiator is sectional, a detector array is located parallel to the irradiator, each section of the irradiator moves and is equipped with pneumatic position clamps. The pneumatic clamps with a movable cable cage are simultaneously a drive for moving the irradiator through the control unit with the possibility of bringing any individual section or the entire irradiator to the irradiation position or storing it, with fixation in a given position to form a specified dose field of the irradiated object.

EFFECT: invention increases the reliability of the entire installation, reduces the metal consumption of the installation, reduces noise and vibration during operation of the installation.
