FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus is a gamma-installation for radiation treatment of objects, having an irradiator made from tubular holder elements with radiation sources mounted on a frame, a drive for moving the irradiator, a control system and radiation protection with a storage for the irradiator. The rectangular shaped irradiator is sectioned. The irradiator lies in parallel to a matrix of detectors and is fitted with electromechanical locks for the positions of the irradiator. The locks are electrically connected to the drive of the irradiator through the control unit with possibility of bringing into the position of the irradiator or storage of any separate section or the entire irradiator with locking in the given position in order to form a given dose field for the exposed object.
EFFECT: broader functionalities and universality of the installation.
