FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: present application and implementation options given in the present document relate to oil and gas exploration and related ground-based vibration seismic exploration for reservoir modeling and, more specifically, to methods for performing such exploration using a group of a set of simultaneously activated vibrators, wherein individual vibrators in each group create sweep signals of different frequency bands. A ground-based vibration seismic exploration includes the provision of at least two vibrators in the first group, wherein each vibrator in the first group is assigned to a corresponding excitation line, and excitation lines of the first group pass substantially parallel to each other, provision of at least two vibrators in the second group, wherein each vibrator in the second group is assigned to a corresponding excitation line, which differs from excitation lines assigned to vibrators from the first group, activation of vibrators in the first group with simultaneous use of swipe signals of different frequency bands and different phase coding, activation of vibrators in the second group simultaneously with vibrators in the first group with simultaneous use of swipe signals of different frequency bands and different phase coding, and detection of the resulting seismic signals using a set of seismic sensors installed in contact with the ground and being part of the seismic alignment.
EFFECT: increase in the information content of received data.
