FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering; it can be used for serial and non-serial wheeled vehicles as additional equipment significantly increasing their floatation and cross-country passability. A structure for ensuring passability of wheeled vehicles (hereinafter – SEPWV) is a set of crossbars mounted on flexible, closed in a ring guides. A wheeled vehicle placed inside SEPWV actuates SEPWV due to driving wheels and can bend guides, changing an angle of rotation of own controlled wheels to change the direction of movement of the entire structure. The vehicle is reliably fixed inside SEPWV by mechanisms preventing vehicle wheels from leaving the structure.
EFFECT: in the result, passability of traditional wheeled vehicles is increased to the level of passability of specialized vehicles and all-terrain vehicles.
