FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: electrical socket contains a base containing terminals for the connection to a power grid, a casing installed on the base and containing an inner tubular wall passing along the engagement axis oriented in the direction of the base, a movable plate connected to the inner tubular wall of the casing, made with the possibility of movement along the engagement axis between a waiting position and a fixation position, a fixation system connected to the base and passing/oriented perpendicular to the engagement axis. When pressing the movable plate to the base, the fixation system fixes the movable plate in a fixation position, and when repeatedly pressing the movable plate to the base, the movable plate is made with the possibility of self-release and movement upwards to return to the waiting position.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency, reliability and durability of a fixation mechanism of an electrical socket.
