FIELD: dump truck operation optimizing.

SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to a system and a method for optimizing the operation of a dump truck using a driver's digital adviser. The system contains: a server and an onboard computer system (OCS) of a dump truck. OCS contains: telemetry control system, dump truck instantaneous fuel consumption sensor, digital adviser. The server builds a digital map of the dump truck route divided into elementary sections, determines the optimal profiles for passing the dump truck route using machine learning methods based on telemetry data and a dump truck instantaneous fuel consumption sensor for each elementary section of the route, taking into account factors affecting specific fuel consumption. A virtual map is created for issuing recommendations on elementary sections of the route of the dump truck and the built digital map of the route. A digital map of the route of the dump truck and a virtual map for issuing recommendations on elementary sections of the route are loaded into the OCS. With the help of a digital adviser, real-time recommendations are issued on driving modes for each elementary section of the route in accordance with a virtual map for issuing recommendations on elementary sections of the route, depending on the position of the dump truck on the digital route map and the optimal profiles of the route, taking into account factors affecting the specific fuel consumption.
