FIELD: optical materials science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical materials science, in particular to a method for uniform volumetric coloration of oxide glasses and glass-ceramics by heat treatment, and can be used for the manufacture of jewelry based on glass or glass-ceramic with a controlled wide color gamut, optical filters in the visible range, etc. The method for uniform volumetric coloring of a transparent material based on glass includes the synthesis of crystallized glass in a magnesium aluminosilicate system with the addition of gold chloride and thermal treatment of the synthesized glass, while the thermal treatment of the synthesized glass is carried out in the temperature range of 750-875°C for 20 hours. The initial glass has the following composition, wt.%: АuСl3 0.005-0.01, SnO2 1.395-1.59, Na2O 1.50-1.60, ZrO2 4.20-4.90, ТiO2 6.50-7.00, MgO 5.00-7.00, ZnO 13.00-15.30, Al2O3 22.00-25.00, SiO2 40.00-44.00.
EFFECT: obtaining a transparent material based on glass with a uniform volumetric color in the series: turquoise, blue-blue, violet, red.
