FIELD: optics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optically transparent glass-ceramic nanomaterials of a magnesium-aluminosilicate system. Transparent sital, containing, mass%: SiO2 40–50; Al2O3 10–15; MgO 6–10; ZnO 20–25; Na2O 0.5–3; TiO2 3–9; ZrO2 1–6; As2O3 0.1–1. Color of the material is ensured by the following components introduced above 100 %: CoO 0.001–3, and Nd2O3 0.001–3, and Ce2O 0.001–3, wt%, or SnO2 0.001–3, and CoO 0.001–3, and Au 0.001–3, wt%. Method for producing a transparent glass rod includes stirring a mixture of raw materials in a drum type mixer and cooking in an electric furnace in corundum crucibles at temperatures of 1560±2 °C and a holding time of at least 2 hours. Annealing is carried out at a temperature of 610±2 °C for at least 4 hours followed by additional heat treatment at a temperature of 780±2 °C for 4–6 hours.

EFFECT: lower fusion temperature of the pigment.
