FIELD: optical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical materials science, in particular to colorless optical glass with a high refractive index in the range of 1.91≤nd≤2.02, a dispersion coefficient of 27≤νd≤36 and a reduced density (ρ<5.0 g/cm3), which can be used as a material for the manufacture of optical lenses and optical systems (photo and video lenses of ultra-high resolution, optical devices of the military-industrial complex, optics of the civilian segment, material for volumetric recording of waveguide light-conducting structures using local laser modification, etc.). The claimed optical glass contains the following components, wt. %: La2O3 34-50; В2O3 11-20; TiO2 4-10, CaO 0.5-4; ZnO 0,2-2,5; Nb2O5 16-40; ZrO2 0-2; Y2O3 1-5; Gd2O3 5-10; Sb2O3 0.2-2.0 and additionally contains Ga2O3 0.5-5, WO3 0-5. The ratios CaO/ZnO =1.5-2.5 and La2O3/B2O3=2.5-4 ensure optimal resistance of glass to crystallization and the manufacturability of its cooking and production.
EFFECT: optical glass from this field of compositions has a high refractive index in combination with low density, low crystallization ability and environmental safety.
