SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a fibre-forming apparatus for producing mineral fibres containing a perforated godet wheel allowing fibres to be formed by internal centrifugation. The fibre-forming apparatus comprises at least one annular burner creating an annular gas flow for pulling fibres, and a suction system for removing the flue gases generated by said burner. The fibre-forming apparatus therein comprises an apparatus for changing the temperature of said wheel, wherein said tool for changing the temperature constitutes an air circulation apparatus placed between the annular burner and the suction system for controlling the flue gas removal flow.
EFFECT: invention provides a possibility of adjusting the temperature of the wheel without changing the gas flow.
