FIELD: computing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacturing a mineral wool mat and determining the optimal amount of water for diluting the adhesive composition intended to be applied in fibres in the fibre-forming section of the set for mineral wool mat production. The method therein includes the stages of determining the air humidity in the fibre-forming section, the humidity of suctioned air, and the flow rate of suctioned air in at least one suction channel, as well as the desired amount of water in the mat at the output of the receiving chamber. The final stage of the method includes adjusting the amount of water for dilution depending on said optimal amount determined thereby.
EFFECT: possibility of improving the quality of heat treatment of the mat due to the more effective control of the amount of water in the product prior to sewing.
