FIELD: underwater systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of underwater data acquisition and transmission systems and can be used, in particular, for the detection of underwater and surface objects, as well as in marine seismic exploration and for monitoring the state of the marine environment. The claimed submarine fiber-optic communication line contains a fiber-optic cable armored with metal wires, underwater hardware blocks with optical DWDM signal amplifiers and at least one input / output multiplexer (OADM). A source of laser radiation, a modulator, an optical circulator, a photodetector, an ADC and processing unit, and a DWDM transceiver are additionally introduced into the container with amplifiers, and one or more metal tubes are additionally introduced into the outer armor of the cable. Wherein each tube is opened at the points of connection to the cable of underwater fiber-optic sensors and filled with an optical fiber, the ends of which are connected to the fibers of the optical sensors, forming a serial connection of the sensors, while the fiber from the sensor closest to the container is brought into the container and connected to the inlet of the circulator, the second the input of which is connected through a modulator to the source of laser radiation, and the output through a series-connected photodetector, an ADC and processing unit and a DWDM transceiver is connected to the input of the spectral channel OADMM defined for this hardware unit.
EFFECT: expanding the functionality of an underwater fiber-optic communication line by collecting information about the underwater environment and objects located in it.
