SUBSTANCE: multichannel distributed fiber-optic sensor for monitoring and protecting extended objects comprises a transmit-receive optical module, an amplifying optical module, a sensitive element in the form of an optical fiber and a computer with a software recognition system based on machine learning and neural networks, a transmit-receive optical module comprises a narrow-band continuous laser, an acoustic-optic modulator, a photodetector, a signal processing unit, a frequency filter and a post-processing, control and synchronization unit, an amplifying optical module comprises transmitting and receiving optical amplifiers, an optical circulator and an optical filter, in addition, the sensor comprises at least one point detector equipped with a vibroacoustic output vibroacoustically connected to said sensitive element, and a detector signal filter, the input of which is connected to the said frequency filter output, and the output is connected to the second input of the said post-processing, control and synchronization unit.
EFFECT: expanding the operational capabilities of a multi-channel distributed sensor with a recognition system based on machine learning and neural networks.
