FIELD: ecology.
SUBSTANCE: in the claimed method for carbon dioxide (hereinafter – CO2) utilization, gaseous CO2 is introduced into a zone of cavitation of water circulating through a flow hydrodynamic cavitation device. The temperature of a reaction mixture of CO2 and cavitating water is limited with a value of +64°C by removal of heat energy from the reaction mixture. In a continuous scheme of CO2 utilization, water spent for the formation of hydrogen and oxygen during cavitation and providing for production of synthetic higher hydrocarbon is compensated by its supply from an outer source. The flow hydrodynamic cavitation device is made in the form of a cavitator pump including a set of centrifugal turbines operating in a water cavitation mode, with an electric engine having adjustable or non-adjustable rotation frequency.
EFFECT: invention provides for carbon dioxide utilization with the production of heat energy and synthetic higher hydrocarbon used as liquid fuel.
