FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of oil, gas for industrial and domestic consumption for seawater desalination, as well as any salt or reservoir water with chemical reagents. To implement the method, sea or salt water containing carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen (N2), filtered on filter (6) of mechanical impurities and passed through hydrodynamic cavitation device (1), made in the form of pump-cavitator, after which precipitate of precipitated salts and desalinated water are separated in salt separator (2), and part of desalinated water is circulated along water circulation line (5) through cavitation device (1), temperature in which is not more than +98 °C. Cavitation device (1) can consist of several pump-cavitators connected in series, and the water circulation line (5) connects the last cavitator pump to the first cavitator.
EFFECT: proposed desalination method is environmentally safe, energy efficient and ensures high efficiency.
