FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment using optical fiber, namely to fiber-optic security detectors, as well as to products, methods, and means related to fiber-optic security detectors and their aspects. A technical problem solved by the claimed solution is the creation of a technical means without disadvantages of the nearest analogue, having a simple grip structure and simple and convenient setting (adjustment). A sensor structure is made so that an initial shape and change in the shape of sensor optical rings within elastic deformation are selected so that a probing pulse signal at an operating frequency, for example 1550 nm, in one of positions of a movable mechanism, passes through rings, and in another position of the movable mechanism, it is absorbed in a ring shell, while at a diagnostic frequency, for example 1310 nm, in any position of the movable mechanism of the sensor, the probing pulse signal passes, providing control of sensor serviceability.
EFFECT: simplification of a sensor structure, namely a structure of grips for optical rings, simplification of a process of sensor manufacture, as well as provision of continuous diagnostics of serviceability of the sensor and an optical line leading to it; implementation by the invention of its purpose.
