FIELD: production control.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a contour for control of transient states and supernumerary situations of the process and product. The contour for control of transient states and supernumerary situations of the process and product is located in an installation for the production of polymer granules or polymer extruded products. The contour includes a mixing device suitable for mixing additives and a foaming agent into a flow of molten polymer; a polymer granulator or an extrusion device located downstream from the mixing device; a deflection valve suitable for molten polymers, located along a line connecting the mixing device to the polymer granulator or to the extrusion device, upstream of the mentioned granulator or extruder. In this case, the deflection valve is equipped with at least one inlet, a waiting position, and an operating position. Moreover, the control contour contains a heating device located downstream from the valve, a separating device located downstream from the heating device, suitable for the physical separation of the foaming agent from polymer and any additives present in it, and a cooling device of the separated foaming agent, located between the separating device and the mixing device.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of control of transient states and supernumerary situations, while minimizing time and material losses.
