SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for mechanized laying of a fiber-optic cable in the ground. Before laying, the cable is brought in a channel for input of flexible linear products of a cable layer with a V-shaped plow, and is attached to the ground. The cable layer is moved along the specified trajectory of cable laying. At the same time, during the process of laying of the fiber-optic cable to the ground, water is supplied to the cable input channel. After laying, the V-shaped plow is lifted, thereby releasing the cable. After that, the cable is rammed by the cable layer, using the weight of the cable layer.
EFFECT: increase in the cable sensitivity, provision of the uniformity of the cable sensitivity.
