METHOD FOR ASSESSING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF VENOFER TREATMENT IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC HEART FAILURE WITH IRON DEFICIENCY SYNDROME Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B5/00

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to therapy, cardiology. In patients with chronic heart failure, indicators of clinical manifestations, laboratory tests, echocardioscopy indicators are determined before and after treatment with venofer. Then each indicator is compared before and after treatment, determining the change in each indicator (_Δ) and ranking in points. After that, the sum of points of the ranked changes in the indicators of clinical manifestations is determined (∑₁); determine the sum of scores of ranked changes in laboratory tests (∑₂) and the sum of scores of ranked changes in echocardioscopy indicators (∑₃). The coefficient of effectiveness of treatment with venofer (C_ef) is calculated according to the formula: C_ef=∑₁+∑₂+∑₃. With a C_ef value of 25 to 30 points, the effectiveness of treatment with venofer is assessed as high. When from 19 to 24 points - as good, and from 13 to 18 points - as satisfactory.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the objectivity and reliability of assessing the effectiveness of treatment with venofer, included in the combination therapy of chronic heart failure, due to the integral assessment of clinical, laboratory and echocardiographic parameters.
