FIELD: oilfield equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oilfield equipment, in particular to submersible gas separators designed to separate gas from reservoir fluid, and can be used when production is complicated by the removal of abrasive particles. Centrifugal abrasion-resistant gas separator includes a housing, an inlet module, an inlet grate with passage channels narrowing at the outlet, a protective sleeve, a shaft with a rotor mounted on it, and a separator head with outlets for discharging the separated gas into the annulus. The narrowing passage channels are formed due to the thickening of the outer wall of the inlet grate and are displaced towards the shaft at the outlet. The inlet grating is provided with a protrusion along the periphery, conjugated with the outlet of the passage channels and smoothly rounded with the transition to the protective sleeve.
EFFECT: increase in structural reliability and increase in the service life of the protective sleeve of the gas separator.
