FIELD: radio location.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for creating interference for synthetic aperture radars (SAR) and can be used in the development of SAR-suppression means, in particular, installed on an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). In the claimed method, a sounding signal is received from the SAR, the modulating function is formed, a signal is modulated at the frequency of the received signal, and interference is emitted in the opposite direction. The dimensions of the spatial area wherein the SAR carrier is expected to appear, the values of the length of the OC and the speed of the intra-pulse frequency change are therein preset. The offset distance and the width of the noise band (NB) and the value of deviation of the frequency modulation of the signal emitted by the repeater installed at the removal distance equal to the average offset distance of the NB from the OC are then calculated.
EFFECT: eliminated dependence of the effectiveness of concealing the mark of the object of cover (OC) with a false mark on the current spatial position of the SAR carrier.
