FIELD: radio location.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for creating interference for synthetic aperture radars (SAR) and can be used in the development of SAR-suppression means, in particular, ones installed on a UAV. The claimed apparatus for distorting the radio location image in a synthetic-aperture radar comprises a receiving antenna, a receiving apparatus, and a repeater, connected in series, as well as a modulating function forming unit. The repeater is therein put at a set distance from the object of cover. Series-connected noise band offset distance calculating unit, average noise band offset distance calculating unit, and a noise band width calculating unit, as well as a first and a second memory apparatus and a data input unit are also additionally included in the apparatus. The repeater consists of series-connected modulator, power amplifier, and transmitting antenna.
EFFECT: eliminated dependence of the effectiveness of concealing the mark of the object of cover with a false mark on the current spatial position of the SAR carrier.
