FIELD: information security.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology for combating information technology tools. To realise the technical result, if an impact algorithm for the given type and class of equipment of the information technology tool is not found in the database, an impact algorithm is generated in the form of a sequence of events, wherein each event constitutes a process of transmission of one or multiple data packets, the contents of each packet are filled with data, the generated impact algorithm is implemented, upon implementation, the effectiveness of impact on the equipment of the information technology tool is assessed, the assessment result is compared with the preset value; if the assessment result exceeds the preset value, a decision is made that the information technology system is affected and the implemented algorithm is stored in the database for this type of equipment of the information technology tool, otherwise a new algorithm is generated wherein the packets are filled with other data.

EFFECT: increase in the effectiveness of impact on new information technology tools due to the generation of new impact algorithms, assessment of the effectiveness thereof, and expansion of the database by means of new effective impact algorithms.
