FIELD: medicine; vascular surgery.
SUBSTANCE: loose part of the left ovarian vein (hereinafter – LOV) is excised to a level, where LOV is represented by a single trunk. The left external iliac vein (hereinafter – EIV) is skeletonized. A large subcutaneous vein of the lower limb of the required length is isolated. Then, an auto-venous shunt is formed from it and sewn to the free edge of LOV, forming proximal “end-to-end” anastomosis, then, the distal end of the auto-venous shunt is sewn to the left EIV, forming “end-to-side” anastomosis.
EFFECT: method allows for the improvement of immediate and long-term results of the surgical treatment of patients with varicose pelvic disease in aorto-mesenteric compression syndrome, increase in the quality of life of patients, their social activity.
