FIELD: devices for straightening anode holder nipples.
SUBSTANCE: device refers to a device for straightening anode holder nipples. A device for straightening anode holder nipples, consisting of a rod, a bracket with shoulders, two side and one central nipples, contains a metal base with a frame fixed on it, consisting of longitudinal and transverse plates, a mechanism for fixing the central nipple connected by brackets to a hydraulic cylinder, a support plate with holes for side nipples, a holder for fixing the anode holder rod in a vertical position by means of a grip connected to a pneumatic cylinder. In addition, the device contains heating elements made in the form of inductors placed on the racks of the base plate and connected to the current source by means of leads, while the heating from the inductors, by placing them around the side nipples inserted into the holes of the base plate, is directed to the arms of the bracket anode holder.
EFFECT: increase in the speed of the dressing operation of deformed nipples without the use of any additional equipment for heating and straightening operations.
