FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, namely to the layout of the sensor and the method for monitoring the circulation pump system. The layout of the sensor for monitoring the circulation pump system (1) with at least one pump (3) contains the first vibration sensor (5), made with the possibility of installation in the first part (11) of the pump, the second vibration sensor (7), made with the possibility of installation in the second part (29) of the pump. The first part (11) of the pump and the second part (29) of the pump have a distance to each other. The evaluation module (9) is made with the possibility of establishing a difference between at least two of k≥2 different types of faults based on a comparison of signals from the first vibration sensor (5) and the second signals from the second vibration sensor (7), and is made with the possibility of establishing a difference between types of faults based on a comparison of information in the operating time of the first signals and the second signals. The circulation pump system and the method for monitoring the operation of the system are also disclosed.
EFFECT: reducing the risk of misinterpretation of signals.
