SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure and can be used in the production of metal shells using extraction and extrusion operations. The device contains a stepped matrix with upper and lower working belts and a stepped punch. The length of the lower step of the punch and the distance between the matrix belts are equal to the height of the semi-finished product obtained by extraction. The matrix has recesses in the shape and size of the thickenings of the workpiece, which are located on its open end, the surface of the upper working belt and the surface of the cavities of the upper step. The upper step of the punch is made with protrusions corresponding in shape and size to the recesses of the matrix. The lower working belt of the matrix is made with a contour and dimensions corresponding to the outer contour and the dimensions of the shell. The lower step of the punch is made with a cross-sectional contour corresponding to the shape and size of the cavity of the finished shell, or with recesses in the shape and size of the thickenings of the workpiece.

EFFECT: as a result, the technological capabilities of the device are expanded.
