FIELD: closing containers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing a metal vessel using a threaded capping means. Capping means includes a body, an external threaded surface and a part protruding outward from the upper end of the body of the capping means at a first angle. The sealing apparatus comprises a first tool for applying a first force to the threaded capping means installed in the hole of the metal vessel, and a second tool for applying a second force to the outer surface of the neck of the vessel to form a thread. The first force ensures elastic deformation of the threaded capping means and changes the first angle of protrusion of the protruding part from the body of the capping means. The second force is applied by means of the second tool when the first force is applied by means of the first tool.
EFFECT: increase in the pressure resistance of the capping means and an improvement in the sealing of the metal vessel.
