FIELD: cord seals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cord seal (1) made of elastic foam material. The cord seal (1) has an upper part (2) made for sealing and a lower part (4) adjacent to it for fixing the cord seal (1) in the retaining groove (20) of the window frame or sash extending in the vertical direction. The upper part (2, 28) and the lower part (4) are connected to each other by means of the back (6) so that the cord seal (1) has a closed cross section (8). The upper part (2) in the case of fixing the bundle seal (1) in the retaining groove (20) is adjacent to the window from the side of the sash. The closed cross section (8) is made in the form of a continuous profile of foamed material, and a strip (22) of a harder material than the foamed material is molded in the cord seal (1), which in cross section has the form of a crossbar (14) and in an unloaded state in relation to the plumb line (S), which runs parallel to the vertical direction, is deviated from the upper part (2) by an angle of inclination (α) from 2° to 45°.
EFFECT: invention provides the same sealing properties in the corner zone of the structure, as well as within the running length of the tow seal without making a half-overlap connection.
