SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an internally safe, explosion-proof encoder. The expected result is achieved by the fact that the encoder includes a housing comprising a first set of one or more side walls defining the first zone, a second set of one or more side walls defining the second zone, and a protective partition having a first surface oriented in the direction of the first zone, and a second surface oriented in the direction of the second zone. The protective partition has a sensor hole defined in it between the first zone and the second zone. The node of the board stack, having many heights, is located so that the interface device and the first part of the protective wire input are in the first zone, and the second part of the protective wire input passes through the sensor hole between the first zone and the second zone. The protective wire input can communicate with the sensor device in the second zone. The cover engages with the first set of one or more side walls to isolate the first zone from the external environment.
EFFECT: elimination of the need to install sensors of the position sensor system used in hazardous environments, in a high-pressure housing, as well as in large enclosures.
