SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical technology. The assembly for removing the cover for the autoinjector, which prevents unintentional contact between the needle and the user, contains a syringe cylinder, a needle and a needle case surrounding the needle. The assembly for removing the cover contains: a cap removal device made with the possibility of gripping by the user and having a proximal end and a distal end, and the distal end of the cap removal device contains at least one hole passing through it. The retaining device is placed inside the cap removal device and has a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the retaining device contains at least one gripping element made to engage with at least one mating gripping element of the needle case, and the distal end contains a hole passing through it. The retaining device is axially movable relative to the cap removal device, and moreover, the retaining device contains at least one radially continuing protrusion, and the cap removal device contains at least one window made with the possibility of accommodating a radially continuing protrusion. The autoinjector and the method for assembling the autoinjector are disclosed.
