FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to appliances for injection devices. The appliance contains a needle cap, a main part containing a recess configured to receive an injection device, and a cover connected to the main part. The lid is rotatable between an open position, in which the recess is open to receive the injection device, and a closed position, in which the lid at least partially covers the recess, retaining the injection device in the main part. The device further comprises a decapping device with a gripper, wherein the decapping device has an expanded configuration in which the needle cap can pass between the gripper, and a contracted configuration in which the gripper holds the needle cap to at least partially remove the needle cap from the injection device. The decapping device is moved from the reduced configuration so that at least one movable element changes direction to move from the needle cap in an outward direction opposite to the inward direction.
