SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a beverage dispensing system with a pressure generation system that is self-regulating, to a method for the manufacture of a pressure regulator and a method for obtaining a pressure regulator for its use, as well as to a beverage container containing this pressure regulator, wherein the container is filled with a gaseous beverage or can be filled with a gaseous beverage, such as a carbonated beverage. A pressure regulation system for a beverage container system contains the first compartment for containing gas under pressure in a fluid communication with an outlet area through at least a gas valve for opening and closing a channel between the first compartment and the outlet area. In this case, a gas valve control system is provided, containing a deformable and/or movable wall or wall part of the mentioned outlet area, wherein the mentioned part of the deformable and/or movable wall is made with the possibility of contact with the mentioned gas valve for opening and/or closing the mentioned gas valve. The second compartment is located on the side of the mentioned deformable and/or movable wall part opposite the outlet area, wherein the second compartment is in a fluid communication with the third compartment, wherein the third compartment contains at least one dividing wall part and is at least impermeable to fluid.

EFFECT: pressure regulator is provided that can automatically adjust the pressure in a beverage container, especially in a beverage container containing a gaseous and/or pressurized beverage.
