SUBSTANCE: method includes obtaining a parameter related to the formation of a baseband signal with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) for a physical random access channel (PRACH); and forming an OFDM signal of the PRACH baseband in accordance with said parameter applying an expression describing the formation of a baseband OFDM signal for PRACH. The expression describing the formation of a baseband OFDM signal for PRACH includes an element indicating the location of the subcarrier with the lowest number from the resource block with the lowest number occupied by the PRACH transmission resource area in the frequency domain used by the OFDM signal of the PRACH baseband in the resource grid.

EFFECT: accurate positioning of the location of the physical random access channel (PRACH) transmission resource area in the frequency domain used by the OFDM signal of the PRACH baseband.
