HAIR IMPLANTS WITH ENHANCED FIXATION AND MEDICAL SAFETY CHARACTERISTICS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61F2/10

Abstract RU 2776439 C2

FIELD: medicine; cosmetology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hair replacement and, in particular, to the implantation of artificial hair and implants. A hair implant is designed for subcutaneous implantation, includes an anchor and at least one strand of hair. The anchor contains an anchor body and at least one collagen-receiving structure selected from a group consisting of at least one channel passing through the anchor body and an element of the outer surface of the anchor body. At least one strand of hair protrudes from the distal end of the anchor body. At least one collagen-receiving structure is made with the possibility of supporting the growth of the collagen ligature after subcutaneous implantation of the hair implant in such a way that to fix the anchor on a recipient of the hair implant, and there is no hair in the collagen-receiving structure. A method for hair restoration includes the formation of an incision on the skin; the introduction of the above-mentioned implant into the incision so that 0.1-2 mm of silicone coating at the proximal end of each of at least two strands of hair remains: a) outside the skin, b) above the epidermis, c) under the skin or d) under the epidermis; as well as application of adhesive to the incision. A method for the manufacture of the above-mentioned implant includes provision of a mold containing at least one cavity for forming an anchor; filling at least one cavity with silicone liquid; coating 2-10 mm of the proximal end of each of at least two strands of hair with silicone coating; immersion in silicone liquid of the proximal end of each of at least two strands of hair to such a depth so that 0.1-2 mm of silicone coating remains outside silicone liquid in the cavity; solidification of silicone liquid to produce a solid product; extraction of the solid product from the mold; and sterilization of the solid product in such a way that to prepare the implant.

EFFECT: use of inventions makes it possible to fix a hair implant to prevent unwanted hair loss, protect the artificial hair implant from the immune system and prevent inflammation in the short and long term.
