FIELD: hair implants.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to implantation of artificial hair. A hair implant for subcutaneous implantation comprises an anchor with an anchor body comprising a bulbous, convex base portion, the upper portion of the base portion and the lower portion of said base portion having the same diameter; and at least one collagen housing structure that includes an open channel or a continuous channel extending through the anchor body. At least one strand of hair protrudes from the distal end of the anchor body. The collagen housing structure is configured to allow the collagen junction to germinate after subcutaneous implantation of a hair implant so as to attach an anchor to a hair implant recipient, and the collagen housing structure does not contain hair. Options for a hair implant for subcutaneous implantation are disclosed.
EFFECT: reduction of complications after implantation.
