FIELD: chemistry; packaging.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water-soluble films based on polyvinyl alcohol and packages related to them. Water-soluble film with low static friction coefficient for the production of packaging is described, containing a mixture of (i) water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol, (ii) plasticizer selected from a group consisting of glycerin, propylene glycol, sorbitol, trimethylolpropane, polyethylene glycols, polymers of glycerin and propylene oxide, 2-methyl-1,3-propanediol, xylitol and combinations of the above-mentioned, and (iii) hydroxypropyl-modified starch with amylose content in the range from 65% to 95%. In this case, polyvinyl alcohol is present in the amount from 20% by wt. to 95% by wt. per the total weight of film, and oxy-propylated starch is present in the amount from 5 wt. pts. to 30 wt. pts. per 100 wt. pts. of resin.

EFFECT: creation of water-soluble films, from which water-soluble packaging can be produced, preserving water solubility along with reduced tendency to adhesion to other water-soluble films.
