FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry and can be used to control the process of developing oil fields using flooding, to increase oil recovery from oil reservoirs by cyclic injection of carbon dioxide and water. The method for developing an oil reservoir includes alternating injection of carbon dioxide and water through injection wells into the reservoir, monitoring the content of carbon dioxide in the composition of associated gas at production wells, determining the limit value of the concentration of carbon dioxide in the composition of associated gas from production wells. At the same time, porosity, formation thickness, current reservoir pressure - Prp, saturation pressure of oil with carbon dioxide – PsatCO2 are preliminarily determined, a section of the reservoir is selected with a permeability spread from 0.1 to 2.5 mcm2, current reservoir pressure Prp > 1.3⋅PsatCO2. Tracer studies are carried out on the injection well of the selected section of the reservoir, the reacting production wells and the area of impact are determined by the propagation of the tracer in the reservoir, the pore volume of the selected section of the reservoir is calculated depending on porosity, reservoir thickness and impact area.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability of the method for developing an oil reservoir by increasing the coverage of the reservoir by the impact and increasing the oil recovery factor of the oil reservoir due to the introduction of additional control over the impact of carbon dioxide and the continuous operation of production wells during the implementation of the method.
