FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular, to technology for deep purification of non-ferrous metals by a combination of metallurgical methods, and pertains to the development of a method for producing highly pure metals. In the proposed method, the temperature of the technological processes does not exceed 1,250°C, wherein the purification process is conducted in a single apparatus made in the form of a reactor flask containing the loading and receiving crucibles, with singular loading of the purified metal into the reactor flask. The metal is melted in the loading crucible, subjected to two distillation processes, and the resulting metal distillate is discharged into the receiving crucible. Prior to the first distillation process, the metal melt therein undergoes filtration refining and vacuum degassing; after the first distillation process, the metal melt undergoes repeated vacuum degassing in the course of multiple process cycles providing temperature swings, followed by a second distillation.

EFFECT: creation of a reproducible reliable method based on technologically simple equipment, ensuring the production of non-ferrous metals with a purity of at least 99.99995% wt.
