SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of wireless communication networks, namely to positioning of mobile devices. A network element determines a location control function based on an access type of a terminal device, a positioning method for the terminal device, and an access type for receiving a positioning parameter, and the network element transmits information about the position method and information on indication to a network element of mobility control to the location control function. In this case, indication information indicates the network element of mobility control to receive the positioning parameter using the access type.
EFFECT: prevention of inapplicability of a finally determined positioning method to a current access type of a terminal device.
