FIELD: information protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of information protection from unauthorized access, in particular to devices for emergency destruction of electronic data carriers by means of their physical destruction at the user’s command. The device is designed to instantly destroy information from a USB drive in case of a danger of information leakage. It is a sealed housing with an integrated memory chip of a USB drive located inside, a built-in power source, an electric detonator activation key and an electric detonator. The sealed housing ensures localization of the detonator explosion, prevents the detonation products of the detonator from flying apart, thereby ensuring the safety of the user when working with the device.
EFFECT: creation of a small-sized autonomous information storage device on an integrated memory chip with the possibility of its reliable and trouble-free destruction at the user’s command without the possibility of recovery in the event of a danger of its leakage.
