FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, in particular to retractable steps of passenger cars. The footboard of the vehicle includes a body (1) with linear guides (3) fixed inside and a drive (5) with a linear actuator (6), a flight of stairs (2) placed in the body and made with the possibility of being pulled out of the body into the working position through the opening of the body. The linear guides (3) and the flight of stairs (2) are connected by a caliper (4) made with the possibility of linear movement along the actuator (6) and including a rocker (7) equipped with three axes (7A), (7B) and (7C). The axle (7A) forms a kinematic pair of rocker - flight of stairs, and the fixed axle (7C) forms a kinematic pair of rocker - caliper. Curvilinear guides (8) and a cam (10) are fixed inside the body, placed on the side of the opening with the possibility of forming a kinematic pair with a roller (11) mounted on the axle (7B) of the rocker when the flight of stairs is extended. Carriages (9) form a kinematic pair of stairs - curved guides.
EFFECT: invention reduces the cruising distance between the upper step of the footboard and the floor of the vehicle cabin while maintaining or reducing the overall dimensions and expands the arsenal of technical means that ensure the boarding and disembarkation of rolling stock passengers.
