FIELD: chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical industry, electrochemistry and energy and can be used in the manufacture of anode materials for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) of electrochemical devices. First, a mixture of powders of oxide or carbonate of cerium and aluminum oxide is prepared in the required stoichiometric amount relative to the mass of the resulting cerium aluminate. A reducing agent, ammonium oxalate, is added to the resulting mixture in a ratio of 1:1 per mole of cerium aluminate. Then stepwise annealing is carried out: first at 1000°C for 12 h, and then at 1400°C for 96 h in a nitrogen flow at a rate of 5 l/min.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the temperature of synthesis of the anode material based on cerium aluminate CeAlO3 and to simplify the hardware design of the process.
