FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of complex aluminium and magnesium oxides activated by ions of rare-earth metals. It can be used in production of green light sources and converters. Initial mix is obtained by premixing for 30 minutes of the powders of cerium oxide (III), terbium oxide (III), aluminium metal, aluminium oxide (III) and magnesium oxide (II) taken in stoichiometric ratio Super stoichiometric amount of sodium perchlorate is added to obtained reaction mix with subsequent mixing for 30 minutes. Mix contains components in the following ratio in wt %: cerium oxide (III) - 1.36-19.08, terbium oxide (III) - 1.51-10.47, aluminium metal - 22.31-28.08, aluminium oxide (III) - 35.38-51.56, magnesium oxide (II) - 6.42-32.66, sodium perchlorate - 25.69-31.10. Interaction of components in said reaction mix is realised under conditions of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis.

EFFECT: lower process temperature, simplified process.
