FIELD: chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: used in magnetoelectronics and electronics in the manufacture of anode materials for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC). Strontium nitrate and manganese nitrate or ammonium dichromate, taken in a stoichiometric ratio, are dissolved in a 5% solution of nitric acid. Then add niobium oxide, taken in a stoichiometric ratio relative to a mixture of strontium nitrate and manganese nitrate or ammonium dichromate, and ammonium hydroxide until the pH is equal to 12.0-12.5. After that, pentanpentaol is introduced in a molar ratio to niobium oxide equal to 2.5:1, and incubated for 9-10 hours, after which pentanpentaol is added again in the indicated ratio. The resulting mixture is heated to the temperature of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) and maintained until combustion is completed. Then two-stage annealing is carried out in the following mode: Stage I - at 900 - 950°C for 1.5-2 hours, stage II - at 1100-1150°C for 6-8 hours, with intermediate mixing and preforming after stage I. The resulting complex oxide of niobium and strontium has the composition Sr2MNbO6 where M is Cr or Mn.

EFFECT: reduction of target product synthesis temperature and production of non-porous gas-tight ceramics by reducing the particle size of the powder obtained before the preforming stage.
