A method for obtaining a remedy for eliminating skin defects and treating wounds in the form of a gel includes mixing dry hangings of a water-soluble cellulose derivative and at least one water-soluble polysaccharide taken from the fucoidan, alginate, pectin group with distilled water under constant stirring at room temperature, settling for 12-18 hours at a temperature of 2-4°C, repeated mixing in for 30-40 minutes, the introduction of cerium oxide, sterilization, characterized by the fact that the mixture of cellulose derivative and water-soluble polysaccharides is stirred at a speed of 30-120 rpm for 20-30 minutes, then before cooling, heating is carried out at a temperature of 115-130°C for 50-120 minutes until the gel matrix is formed, repeated mixing is carried out on a mixer at a speed of 30-60 rpm, and cerium oxide is pre-irradiated with ultraviolet light in the range of UV-C with a power of 16 to 40 MJ/cm2 for 1-10 minutes, and after being introduced into the mixture, it is stirred for 20-30 minutes at a speed of 30-60 rpm.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the level of microbiological protection of the resulting gel, stability and uniformity of its structure.
